The quarterfinal round of the West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament took place on Saturday with two games at the Orleans Arena.
In the opener, Charles Minlend scored 21 points as the San Francisco Dons (#5 seed; 22-11) knocked off the fourth-seeded Pacific Tigers (23-10) 72-54.
Jahlil Tripp scored 29 points to top the Tigers while grabbing 14 rebounds.
In the nightcap, Jordan Ford scored 42 points to carry the third-seeded Saint Mary's Gaels (25-7) to an 89-82 overtime victory over sixth-seeded Pepperdine (16-16)
Colbey Ross scored 43 points while Kessler Edwards added 21 (to go with his 10 rebounds) to pace the Waves.
