Jack Whitaker, Legendary CBS Sportscaster Who Called First Super Bowl, Secretariat's Triple Crown Run, R.I.P.

Jack Whitaker, the long-time veteran television sportscaster (CBS, ABC) who worked the inaugural Super Bowl in 1967 for the "Tiffany Network" and who anchored that CBS's coverage of the 1973 Triple Crown horse races, with Secretariat becoming the first horse in 25 years to earn that honor, passed away on Sunday at age 95.

Mr. Whitaker, a Philadelphia native,  passed away at Devon, Pennsylvania of natural causes.
