At Los Angeles:
In the National Football League regular-season finale for both teams on Sunday, quarterback Jared Goff threw for four touchdowns (two each to Brandin Cooks and Josh Reynolds) while C.J. Anderson ran for 132 yards and a touchdown in place of the injured Todd Gurley II as the Los Angeles Rams (13-3) nailed down a first-round bye in the fourth-coming playoffs by overpowering the visiting San Francisco 49ers (4-12) 48-32.
The Rams swept the Niners for the first time since 2004.
San Francisco, who went 0-8 on the road for the first time since 1979, set an NFL record with only seven takeaways this season. That's for the entire season, folks.
In one bright spot for the 49ers, Pro-Bowl-bound George Kittle set a new receiving yardage single-season record for a tight end with 1,377, thanks to 149 yards in the finale (and he scored a touchdown).
