Here's A Rarity

Here's the front cover of a game program for the November 19, 1944 National Football League contest between the Boston Yanks and the visiting Brooklyn Tigers.

The Tigers (who changed their name from Dodgers), who lost all ten games in 1944, would merge with the Yanks in 1945 under the name of The Yanks.

That merger was dissolved after that 1945 season as Tigers' owner Dan Topping defected to the newly-formed All America Football Conference.
