At Chicago:
Troy Wolters delivered a two-out RBI single in the top of the 13th inning (scoring Trevor Story from third base in the process) and then relief pitcher Scott Oberg struck out the side swinging in the last half of said inning as the Colorado Rockies outlasted the Chicago Cubs 2-1 in Tuesday's National League Wild-Card Game to open the Major League Baseball Playoffs.
This was the longest winner-take-all game in MLB postseason history.
The Rockies will open their divisional playoff series (Colorado's first since 2009) with the Brewers in Milwaukee on Thursday.
