Stephen Curry scored 29 points and dished out nine assists on Thursday night as the Golden State Warriors took the opening game of the NBA Finals 124-114 in overtime over the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers.Kevin Durant added to the Warriors' cause with 26 points and nine rebounds while Klay Thompson added 24 points of his own.
This, in spite of a playoff-career high 51 points from Cleveland's LeBron James, who grabbed eight rebounds and dished out eight assists. Kevin Love added 21 points and 13 rebounds to the Cavaliers' coffers.
