Kameron Edwards scored 14 of his 22 points in the opening half on Saturday as the Pepperdine Waves (5-25 overall, 2-16 in WCC play) raced out to a 42-17 halftime lead en route to a 75-64 home win over the Portland Pilots (10-21, 4-14), ending an eight-game losing streak.
The Pilots have now dropped their last six games.
