In his first game in nearly a year, Tres Tinkle scored 24 points while Ethan Thompson added 20 as the Oregon State Beavers outran visiting Southern Utah 99-82 on Friday in the men's college basketball regular-season opener for both schools.
Jadon Cohee paced the Thunderbirds with 21 points.
