2012 World Series: Giants Pitchers Handcuff Tigers Again: SF Now One Win Away From Title

At Detroit:

Ryan Vogelsong pitched 5 2/3 innings of five-hit ball, while Tim Lincecum delivered solid relief pitching and Sergio Romo (that's him here) picked up his second save as the San Francisco Giants became the first team since the 1966 Baltimore Orioles in picking up back-to-back World Series shutout wins with their 2-0 game-three road win over the Detroit Tigers, enabling them to take a three-games-to-none series lead.  Gregor Blanco hit an RBI single, then scored on Brandon Crawford's single in the second inning.  The Giants can go for the four-game sweep and their second World championship in three years with a win on Sunday in Detroit.
