Running back Tony Gerhart ran for a school-record 223 yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Andrew Luck threw for two scores as Stanford (6-3, 5-2) gained bowl eligibility Saturday by knocking off Oregon (7-2, 5-1, #8 in the BCS rankings) 51-42, ending the Ducks' seven-game winning streak, and pretty much assuring that there will be no Pac-10 team playing in January's BCS National Championship Game.
