Here's a magazine ad for the 1955 Willys Bermuda Hardtop.  It was indeed honestly advertised as America's lowest-priced hardtop.



Also included in the ad is the '55 Willys four-door sedan.

1955 was the last year for the domestic manufacturing of Willys passenger cars.

Willys, and sister make Kaiser, were by that time the only two American makes that did not offer an overhead valve V-8 engine.
