Eddie Blazonczyk, Sr., Polka Singer And Bandleader, R. I. P.

Eddie Blazonczyk, Sr., a former rockabilly singer and musician turned polka singer and guitarist who led one of the more successful polka bands of recent decades(and a Grammy Award winner) the Versatones, passed away on May 21 at Palos, Heights, Illinois from multiple organ failure at age 70.
