Vikings Top Grambling In Santa Barbara

Holland Woods scored 20 points on Tuesday while Matt Hauser added 19 as the Portland State Vikings (3-3) defeated the Grambling State Tigers (3-3) 84-74.

DeVante Jackson paced the Tigers with 20 points while grabbing nine rebounds.

This game was part of the Las Vegas Classic.

Kylor Kelley scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds on Saturday as the Oregon State Beavers (5-1) downed the visiting Grambling State Tigers (3-2) 80-58 in a contest associated with the Las Vegas Classic.

Grambling Knocks Off Pilots In Portland

At Portland, Oregon:

Ivy Smith, Jr. scored 13 points and dished out nine assists on Saturday night as the Grambling State Tigers (5-6), with four players scoring in double figures, downed the Portland Pilots (6-6) 70-58 on the road.

Beavers Bury Visiting Grambling

At Corvallis, Oregon:

The Oregon State Beavers (7-2) built up a 41-9 halftime lead on Monday night before cruising to a 71-43 home beatdown of the Grambling State Tigers (2-6). Gary Payton II registered the Beavers' first triple double since 1988 (when his father did the trick) with 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists to go with his six steals.  Victor Robbins paced the Beavers with a career-high 22 points while Malcolm Duvivier added 16.

Roberto Nelson scored a season-high 26 points on Saturday as the Oregon State Beavers (5-2) demolished the visiting----and woeful----Grambling State Tigers (0-6) 85-54.
