HURRICANES WIN FIRST STANLEY CUP SINCE 2006; JORDAN STALL NAMED CONN SMYTHE TROPHY WINNER

At T-Mobile Arena, Paradise, Nevada: 


Taylor Hall, Jackson Blake, and Nikolaj Ehlers (empty net) each scored a goal while goaltender Brandon Bussi saved all 22 shots for the shutout as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the homestanding Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 in game six of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday, which the 'Canes won in six games for their first championship since 2006.  


Carolina captain Jordan Staal, who scored in five games of this series, was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner for Most Valuable Player in the playoffs.
