Stanley Cup Playoffs: Rangers Blank And Finish Off Habs; Advance To First Stanley Cup Final Since 1994

Dominic Moore scored the only goal of the contest in the second period while Henrik Lundqvist saved all 18 shots on Thursday as the New York Rangers blanked the visiting Montreal Canadiens 1-0 in game six of the Eastern Conference final and won the series four games to two.  The Rangers advanced to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since last winning the cup in 1994.  The Stanley Cup Final will open next Wednesday at Chicago or Los Angeles (the Kings currently lead the Western Conference final three games to two).
