Both games in the semifinal round of the West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament were played at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Monday.
In the opener, David Stockton scored 21 points while Sam Dower, Jr. added 12 (to go with his nine rebounds) as the top-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs (27-6) defeated the fourth-seeded St. Mary's Gaels (22-11) 70-54.
In the nightcap, Tyler Haws scored eight of his 24 points in overtime as the second-seeded BYU Cougars (23-10) defeated the third-seeded San Francisco Dons (21-11) 79-77. Kyle Collinsworth added 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Cougars.
The Zags and BYU will battle in Tuesday night's championship game (6:00 PM Pacific Time)
